So I think I'm having a rebound after taking Prednisone for 3 weeks because of a severely bad (first time) reaction to poison ivy. I just finished the steroids on Friday, noticed some spots on Saturday, and noticed even more spots today (Monday). There's a chance that I may have been re-exposed Friday in my backyard, but I'm not 100% sure.

The reason I think it is a rebound is that the same spots that originally broke out have flared back up. However, there are also spots that have broken out this time that did not when I originally broke out a month ago.

My question is, do ONLY the original spots flare back up if it is a rebound? Or can other parts of the skin that didn't break out before break out during the rebound? Or does new places simply mean I was re-exposed?

Thank you for any and all help!
