The oils are in all parts of the plant (leaf, stem and root), all times of the year whether the plant is in leaf or not. In the winter when the plant is just sticks, the oils are just as poisonous!

I have heard that the homeopathic preparation "Rhus Tox" in a 30c potency taken 1 tablet per month will maintain immunity, but I have not tried it. A stronger prep (6c) of Rhus Tox will cure it quickly, so I am trying the 30c maintenance plan.
