Yesterday, my mother discovered that she had poison ivy (or similar) rash on her hands. Late last night/this morning it spread to her chest and face. She had thought that this spread was on account of later touching her face and sweating, but came only after she had the rash on her hands. Two others, myself and a dog live in this house and we are fine. I don't know if any of us have ever had rashes from this before. Mom wasn't aware that she had exposed herself to poison ivy until the rashes appeared.

My question is, am I in a needless panic? Nobody has any idea what's she's touched, so it could be anywhere and everywhere in the house. Since they are both fine, they feel there is nothing to worry about, but I still worry. Fuming the entire house is ridiculous sounding, or is it? Am I likely to get something?
