It is typical for new patches to keep appearing- for me, for 14 days. It is depressingly relentless- every day new sites apear.

Symptoms develop more slowly in areas that had less of the oil from the plant (or tougher skin so it penetrated more slowly).
Unfortunately, you can't see where the oil has been spread. If you did not know you'd been exposed and didn't take special precautions, it can have spread by a towel or bedding to areas far from the original site. Ha ha- no way for you to know where!

In a better world, the oil would be purple or bright orange so you'd know where to wash right away! Once the oil has bonded to molecules in the skin, prevention is no longer an option- it will run its course and you just have to treat each patch as it comes.
