I've read this entire site and unless Im missing it, I have found TONS of info on Poison Ive and oak, neither of which I have. I am trying to rid my property of NON poisonous Sumac ( which I assume is the Staghorn variety since I get the red pinecone shaped berry things that hang off the mature plants)which I had just had deforested recently. The spread of new Sumac on my lawn is what is frustrating me as I do not want to have my lawn totally ripped up to eliminate these recurring sprouts. Is there a chemical herbicide which will kill these sprouts AT THE ROOT and not kill my grass? Roundup was useless at killing the sumac but did a wonderful job on killing my lawn !!!
IM DESPERATE HERE. Please help.
