HI Jim, the oil is absorbed within the first 30 minutes of exposure. If you wiped down your face with alcohol and then rinsed really well with cold water, you may be okay but don't count on it as it may be too late already to avoid the rash. Too keep away a horrible outbreak you will need to buy some Zanfel very soon and follow the instructions to the letter. This is the only product on the market that can actually absorb the urushiol out of your skin and shorten your break out time. Good luck.
