I would like to know if anyone has a reason for me NOT to blow hot air from a hair dryer on the PI blisters? I have had this nasty stuff for a week now & have found that blowing the hot air from the hair dryer makes the sores sting badly just like taking a hot bath or shower. It is a temporary relief when you don't want to get wet. The itching sensation is incredible, but you end up feeling like you really scratched yourself well and it relieves the itching for a while. Plus, it doesn't damage your skin like scratching madly would do. It is a very satisfying experience. I am assuming that the hot air also helps dry the blisters. I'm curious to know if I have found something useful or am just hallucinating.
