I have poison ivy growing under/around a beautiful tree in my yard. Question is, if I make up a homemade solution to kill the pi and it also sprays on the tree bark (it's that close to the bark) will I kill the tree. I don't see how I can separate the two and I really want to eliminate the ivy.

Thanks for this message board. It's been very helpful to me as Oh yes, the solution I'm going to try was posted somewhere on a board....part vinegar/salt/soap. Heat vinegar, dissolve salt in vingar, add drops of detergent and spray. Have you tried it?

Kay
