If you have insurance go to a doctor and check out Zovirax Cream (medication to help dry up herpes outbreaks). If not try OTC cold sore meds. I have had poison ivy 6 times. The longest episode lasting 4 months. tried everything. Zovirax (cream) worked best. I applied the cold sore medicine on each patch of blisters and coverered them with a band-aid. (I know you can't do that though.) I would suggest treating each area and then, to keep dry, try an anti-perspirant, (if it helps to keep armpits dry, why not?) Let me know if this helps!
