I am suffering from systemic poison oak right now. but I thought I would offer my 2 cents worth of suggestions.

A. Don't buy the property, and don't go anywhere near the poison oak, ivy plants.

B. Spray it with a Powerful weed killer or herbicide and let the poison do the work over the next 2 or 3 weeks. (roundup?)
(a man I did yard work for used poison to kill the poison oak and then I removed/pulled it. Which is how I got the poison oak. I was wearing leather gloves too.)

C. Get a bulldozer and scrape the top foot of the yard and field to remove all the poison oak.

D. Hire a landscaping crew to remove the poison oak plants from your yard.

E. Dig them up yourself wearing clothing from head to foot and rubber gloves. Use Ivy block on your skin before you work to prevent oil contaminating you.
