Hi Jim G. Here's a novice's opinion after just having gone through a bad case of PI.

If you are using Zanfel on your PI, the blisters will eventually break open from your rubbing the ganular paste on the sites if you need to apply it more than once. It's very easy for your skin to become infected once the sores are exposed so I would try to avoid breaking them on purpose.

I had PI for about 5 days before I gave in and accepted the fact that I had it once again. I used an entire tube of Zanfel on both arms frm wrist to elbow over a period of three days. After each session, (5 total) I applied Caladryl lotion. The blisters broke and were red and sore. I then noticed a post regarding NAET treatments in this web site and called a nearby doctor for an appointment. After one treatment, the itching and swelling disappeared. In addition, I put an antibiotic on the red, swollen areas to avoid infection. One day later, I have only the dry remains of PI. It was a painful and upsetting process but at least I know what to do next time I find myself pulling the wrong "weeds".

Thanks so much for this great site. It was very helpful. Please keep in mind, this is just my opinion and my suggestions may not work for others. Faith
