Oh my goodness! You know it was just fated - that noxious weed was just waiting until you were willing to realize that it really and honestly truly was poison ivy :-). And GAH! about the locations - been there and absolutely no fun.

I have read that one's reaction could fade over time provided no additional incidences but that reintroducing the allergen over a short period of time could cause a rash. Sorry if that's not worded well - too long a day. I think you get the idea - it's baaaaaack! At least you know where the plant is so just avoid whatever is hitting you in the face and make sure that you wash your hands after garden work. And now, Gypsy, you have definite proof of the identity and strength of the poison ivy. ;-)
