If you think it might be poison ivy, go to the doctor immediately. This is day 7 for me, and I have been miserable. I thought I would tough it out and tried some of the home cures, zyrtec and Zanfel with no relief! Finally, after 7 days I went to the doctor. I found out I have a systemic reaction (which means it's in my bloodstream) and I am still having new outbreaks (arms, legs, neck, chest and stomach.) I started a 14 day course of prednisone today (praying.....I get some relief and sleep soon!) By the way re your question about incubation period, I pulled up weeds (poison ivy unknowingly) last Wednesday and started breaking out on Friday.....Janie
