For ten years now I get poison ivy once or twice a year.  It AWAYS appears in the same spot, inbetween my fingers, a spot not likely to get oil on it.  I have alot growing in the woods around my home and I am careful not to touch it.  Each year that I get it, the effects are diminished.  This is the first time I heard of systemic poison ivy and it explains a lot. How could I contact the oil every year in the same place for ten years?  I always thought that the experts that say you can not get it from being near it and not touching it were wrong. This may explain my case.
