WHAT DOES POISON IVY LOOK LIKE THIS TIME OF YEAR, AROUND THE HUDSON VALLEY, NY AREA JUST OVER THE CT BOARDER? THE PICTURES I'VE SEEN ON YOUR WEBSITE ALL SEEM TO BE GREEN. PLEASE SAY IT'S NOT 3 DARK RED SHINY LEAVES ABOUT 1 INCH LONG AND 1/2 INCH WIDE. ON GROUPS AND SINGLE STACKS, POSIBLELY A COURSE VINE LOW TO THE GROUND TO 6 INCHES IN HEIGHT? ISN'T IT ONLY RED AND SHINY IN THE FALL, WITH LARGER LEAVES?

NOW IF MY DOG WALKS IN IT, AND I TOUCH HIM, I'M TOLD I CAN GET THE RASH FROM ANY OIL HE HAS ON HIS FUR? HOW LONG COULD HE HAVE OILS ON HIS FUR AND IF HE WENT SWIMING RIGHT AFTER, WALKED IN SOME GRASS AND DIRT, DO YOU THINK IT'S GONE? LORD KNOWS I CANT HOLD HIM TO WASH HIS FEET AND LEGS. IT TAKES 3 STRONG VETS TO GIVE HIM HIS YEARLY BATH!
