Well this is a stretch so I'll give it a try!

  • Poison ivy berries can be eaten by birds in the winter.
  • You can protect your yard from picnicker's
  • You can harvest the oil and develop a very nice shellac like oil and paint it on valuable things. You will know the culprits by the rash
  • Deer, goats and other animals love the plants.
  • It can be very colorful plant with the different colors when the leaves change.
  • There is a cancer link beliver it or not

One never really gets rid of it all. I have a few acres myself and I am still working on little bits and pieces. You get close but never quite able to declare victory :-)
