Submitted by:  LeeAnn Date Submitted: 6/24/2003 Location: Cincinnati OH Question Asked: These pictures were taken in our back yard in Cincinnati OH. A chain link fence separates our neighbors from us and they have massive amounts of this growing along their fenceline (some last year but not near as extensive as this summer) and it is eeking it's way into our yard. We have 2 little boys and I'm worried that it may be poison ivy. Answer: Hi LeeAnn - You don't need to worry about this being poison ivy or one of its cousins. The plant doesn't share any of the common characterisitics we look for. It is an interesting scrub - but one I'm not familiar with. Anyone else know what this is?
